A Little Love Note -- October 2026 💌
October is here and it seems hard to believe 🍂...where has the year gone? My 2026 Fall/Holiday show is dropping this week with a record 20 shows on the calendar and this weekend kicks things off in a BIG way with the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair, my 24th year! New booth number this year, #119, but close to my regular location...come find me October 3 & 4! I'm happy to report my 2027 Desk Calendars are here and I cannot wait to show them off, along with a lot of new products I've been quietly working on.
October also means Chicago 🧡! We are heading there later this month to see George and Helen, one of my favorite trips of the year. And my dad turns 94 at the end of the month...which feels worth loudly celebrating. 🎂. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that fall is also a great time to write a note or two and share with someone how much they mean to you!
Oh, and 1,500+ trick or treaters 🍫 at our door on Halloween (not an exaggeration, I promise). Just another quiet October. 👻

1. Chicago in the Fall 🧡
There is something about Chicago in October that just hits differently. The leaves, the energy, the excuse to actually wear a coat. Getting to see George and Helen in their city is always one of my favorite trips of the year — can't wait.
2. Sweater Weather 🍃
I'll be honest, I'm not a pumpkin spice latte girl. But sweater weather? I'm ALL in. Even if it's still 80 degrees in Southern California and I'm wearing my favorite sweater completely ironically. Fall is a state of mind and I'm already there.
3. My New Favorite Lip Combo 💄
Presented to me by my daughter Audrey, this one might be my most important discovery of the season, haha. Rhode Peptide Lip Tint in Espresso + Rhode Lip Shape in Balance = perfection. This is my third Rhode combo and I am fully converted. If you haven't tried it, consider this your sign.
